Personalised Provence Itineraries
I provide flexible itineraries for your Provence vacation. They are meant as a guide for experiencing the best of Provence even if only for a short stay. There is so much to see in Provence that it’s hard to pick! Let me suggest what I think are the most worthwhile visits. The longer you stay in Provence, the more time you’ll have to explore iconic Provence as well as lesser-known areas.
How it Works
Send me an email with your interests, your dates, and where you’ll be staying and I’ll happily coordinate a personalized itinerary for your stay in Provence. I will take into consideration the time of year, the best days to visit certain towns and local festivals.
What I Include
If you like, we can meet for a drink on the day of your arrival to go over any questions you may have.
Included in your stay, I can provide a local gourmet market tour as well as recommend the best cooking classes.
I’ll provide information on the most convenient accommodation and best up to date restaurants depending on what kind of experience you’re looking for. Within the itinerary, I’ll provide personal notes on my recommendations of ancient sites in Provence, walks, market towns and more.
As a professional photographer, I can also provide family or couples photo shoots in provence villages or landscapes for a wonderful souvenir. See my photography website for more information.
My Style of Travel
The joy of Provence is the lifestyle. I believe it mandatory to spend time sitting in cafés, wandering hilltop towns, and marveling at the simply gorgeous countryside. Therefore, my itineraries include a selection of the most interesting things to do in the region, with lots of time for exploring.
Provence is a Big Place
My Itineraries focus on Les Alpilles, what I consider to be the essence of Provence. This is where the olive oil is produced. Depending on your stay, I’ll also include the more northern Cotes du Rhône region, Aix en Provence and the Luberon.
Cost
The cost for organising the itineraries is 190€ plus VAT via Paypal or Bank Transfer.

Market Tours by Curious Provence
*2024 update: due to high demand for my artwork I will exclusively be offering market tours to guests staying at our 2 bedroom rental, La Picholine.
I’ve worked at the markets making stuffed tomatoes for three years. As a consequence, my French slang is amazing and I also know a lot of the market workers. I can provide a truly personalised experience. Sometimes, we even eat breakfast with the market workers (obligatory glass of wine included). Market tours, depending on the market, last about 3 hours. We start around 9am (or earlier if it’s hot) at a local café with a coffee. Then, I guide you to the stalls with the best produce of the region. We taste a lot so make sure to come hungry! Tastings include olives, cheese, sweets, wine, Calissons candy and more. Market tours are available at St Remy de Provence Wednesday market (best for food options), Eygalières Friday market (most picturesque).
Private tours are 300€ for a minimum of 2 people. Or 350€ with a picnic. Email me for a quote if you’re more than 2 people. All tours are private. Tours are not possible during July and August. It’s too hot!
See reviews on Tripadvisor for CuriousProvence Markets.

This is a tour of the most delicious gourmet boutiques in St Remy de Provence. The tour lasts about 2 hours and we taste local quality olive oil, cheese, artisan chocolate and more on this tour within the old part of St Remy de Provence. This is available every day except Monday.
