Benefit from my Insider Experience
After two years of waking up early, driving to various locations all around Provence, heaving out of the truck gas bottles, setting up wonky tables, sourcing ingredients from the other stalls, making stuffed tomatoes from scratch in blistering hot weather or freezing Mistral wind, learning the hard way all the banter and French slang that comes with such a job, and eventually becoming a seasoned market worker, I’m still in love with markets.
We have some of the most beautiful markets in the world here in Provence. Always a market lover and worker (I’ve also worked at the famous Borough market in London), I know a thing or two about them. This is why I’m offering myself as a guide for your provencal market experience.
Not Your Average Market Tour
Friends with a lot of the market workers, I can provide a truly personalized experience. Sometimes, we even eat breakfast with the market workers (obligatory glass of wine included). It doesn’t get more authentic than that!
How Does it Work?
Market tours, depending on the market, last about 3.5 hours. We start around 9am (depending on the time of year) at a local café with a coffee. Then, I guide you to the stalls with the best produce of the region. We taste a lot so make sure to come hungry! Tastings include olive oil, olives, cheese, sweets, wine, and more. Market tours are not available during July and August unless combined with a full day tour or photoshoot.
Where?
Market tours are available at St Remy de Provence Wednesday market, Eygalières Friday market, Arles Saturday market, Isle sur la Sorgue Sunday market and Gordes Tuesday market.
St Remy de Provence, Isle sur la Sorgue or Eygalières markets are the best.

How does that work?
We meet early in the morning (depending on the time of year) to take advantage of the gorgeous Provencal golden light. Depending on how long you’d like your photo shoot to be, we choose a beautiful nearby location to the market such as a viewpoint, lavender field, or hilltop town. After the photo shoot, we head to the market for the tour where I can also take a few photos of you and your significant other or family in the market. Et voila! A fun morning with a timeless souvenir to remember your time in Provence.
