Five week countdown before we hope to finish our rental !
It’s the five week countdown to when we hope our barn renovation will be near completion! Since I last posted here Robin has been working 7 days a week while I’ve been crazy busy with photoshoots in the local hilltop towns, lavender fields, sunflower fields, olive groves and more. I’ve been sharing daily updates on plaster boarding, tiling etc on Instagram but things are really going to start to come together in the next couple weeks. Well, that’s the plan anyways..
This will be a weekly vacation rental from May-September. Once things start looking less like a construction site, hopefully at the beginning of September, we’ll start taking reservations for next year. The basin (dipping pool) is ready to go! We still need to re-point our neighbour’s walls, tile the terrace, order iron gates at the blacksmith etc. These will be the last things we’ll be doing towards the end of September.

Above is the downstairs bedroom which has direct access to the garden and an en-suite bathroom. Don’t ask me why there are golf clubs in there… Is he practicing his swing? Dreaming of the golf course..
Well, it definitely still looks like a construction site but we’re working on it!
Next week: painting with lime wash, ordering linen curtains etc.
