Sunset in the Vineyards of Les Baux de Provence
The other evening I witnessed the most beautiful sunset I’ve yet to see in Provence.
Sadly, the camera cannot truly do justice to the intense colours we saw- but I’ll share these images with you anyways!
First, while wandering the garrigue landscape admiring the variety of herbs, we came upon the Maire (mayor) of Les Baux de Provence who was out hunting specifically for partridge. Only in France?
It’s certainly good to live in Provence! I’m starting to understand the slower pace of life here. Taking the time to walk in the evening is just lovely. This is a 5 minute walk from my house.
“Sterling,” the mini, had to pose too… Isn’t he handsome?

I can only imagine how lovely it was as I know I’m usually disappointed with my photos of sunsets/sunrises, the colours are never as good as for real. That said these photos are lovely, especially the light on the vines. Thanks for linking up to #AllAboutFrance
