One of the pleasures of walking around Saint Remy de Provence is the stunning boutiques. Recently, I was invited by Lorraine, owner of Maison Marguerite B, to take pictures of her latest store arrivals.

Three generations of elegant females. Lorraine, her daughter Constance, and the grandmother named for the store.
Lorraine, a Francaise with impeccable taste, chooses (I’m tempted to say curates) each available product in her store. Each piece of fashion or art is included in her personal ‘coup de coeurs,’ a collection of her favourite artisan products. You’ll find brands here with small productions and a real focus on local creative talent.

Maison Marguerite B is located just off beautiful Place Favier. The facade is simply adorable. Inside, you’ll find fashion accessories and clothes, beautiful high-quality bags made of luxuriously soft leather or washed linen, adorable notebooks and office supplies, art for your walls, antiques and more. It sounds like a lot but Lorraine has made the collection cohesive by choosing similar colour palettes and above all only offering for sale “jolies choses,” or pretty things. That is actually the only way to describe the contents of Maison Marguerite B…jolies choses.
