Cooking Classes as Gifts
Personally, I love experiences as gifts. My man has bought me all manner of classes and courses as gifts to feed my love for learning. One year he even bought me a glass blowing course. Last Christmas, he bought me a cooking class at the charming restaurant La Petite Maison du Cucuron.
Located in the most beautiful square in Cucuron, this Michelin star restaurant specializes in local and seasonal cooking. The cooking class is a pearl of an experience where the chef, Eric Sapet, will let you in on a few of his cooking secrets…
Each class is on a Saturday morning and covers a different type of cuisine (most often specific regions of France). After the class you sit down together to eat where the chef serves your labours in an impressive amount of courses! I was gifted the course on Archèche cuisine…If you participate in this one make sure you love truffles.
I noticed that many people participated in the cooking class and then had their partners join them for the meal. The meal can stretch, along with your pants, until 3 pm. The wine is à volonté (keeps coming) and there’s a great mix of people (some of which are regulars).
I suggest booking classes now for January. This restaurant is quite well known and the classes fill up quickly.
